We are a Christian community that has worshiped God and served the people of downtown Jersey City for over 135 years. Originally serving the German immigrant community, we now serve all immigrant communities. Our congregation reflects the gracious diversity of God's creation! We are part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA): a church of over 5 million members and more than 11,000 congregations.

As a Lutheran congregation we assemble each week to baptize, commune, and speak the Word of God. We are a gathering of people who bear one another's burdens, and rejoice together in victories.
